Born in New York to Australian parents, Casey moved to Los Angeles at the age of 8, where she began acting in community theatre roles and short films. After signing with her representation, she moved on to smaller television roles such as Big Time Rush and a supporting role in 20th Century Women alongside Elle Fanning. In 2014, she landed her first major recurring role in ABC's The Middle, on which she appeared for the final four seasons.
After receiving her certificate in Musical Theatre in New York City, Casey has split her time between the Big Apple and her home of Los Angeles, where she has been keeping up with the local Pasadena theatre she is a lifetime member of, as well as using her free time for volunteer work with organizations like the LA Mission and Heal the Bay.
Most recently, Casey premiered the new musical The Last Days of Victor Greymore as part of Emerging Artists Theatre's New Work Series and can be seen in the studio feature Sitting In Bars With Cake starring Bette Midler and Yara Shahidi, coming soon to Amazon Prime.
Casey is a local hire in Los Angeles, New York, and Vancouver, as well as holding dual citizenship (American and Australian).
